iPhones are awesome and that event only increased your iPhone lust.
Those text messages were awesome and he thought they were very funny. At some point I guess you’ll have to meet him.
You missed the discussion about the “many peoples in the building” poster in the cafeteria. And children’s plates make food fun. And a good proportional size.
We can visit mega Walmar again no problems. Just let me know. Then we shall play rock band afterwards?

And most importantly:

Coquitlam Center? No wonder why you got lost. I live by Lougheed Mall. The skytrain doesn’t even go to Coquitlam Center - unless you’re anticipating the extension 5 years into the future.

I think it’s important to note:

it was the first time I ever used an iPhone (to find Walmart)

it was first time I saw a Walmart in Vancouver

it was first time I voluntarily left Vancouver (but stayed in BC) for somewhere other than the airport or something touristy/nature-y

Natalie wrote the world’s most awkward text message to a boy she’s dating (who doesn’t know me): “shopping for underwear with Matthew”

after getting no reply, Natalie followed up the world’s most awkward text message with the world’s most awkward follow up text message: “last message too awkward?”

we had a long debate about Ikea’s use of kid’s plates for kid’s sized meals, even when the person eating is adult sized (her: not weird. me: ridiculous)

re: item 3, per usual, I got lost trying to find Coquitlam Centre

I just finished that block of cheese yesterday. The ‘burbs are calling to me

I was visiting my friend in the burbs and we ended up going shopping for groceries for reasons that are too boring to explain. When I noticed how cheap cheese is in the burbs I pointed at a MASSIVE block for 7 dollars and squealed. Then I bought it because I was so amazed at the deal. Tiny blocks of cheese in the city go for 7 dollars. Tiny tiny tiny ones. At Meinhartd anyway DONT JUDGE ME.

Short boring story short, I have a huge block of cheese that I’ll never finish in my fridge at home. Maybe I’ll bring cheese to all of my events this week.

I went to the Walmart near Boundary (holy huge, Batman) and bought a huge block of Grana Padano for the same price as those slivers they sell at Meinhardt. ‘Burb cheese is the best cheese.

BC Highest Rates of Child Poverty - 6th year

BC is leading the country again for the 6th year in a row for child poverty. I’m ashamed to say I had no idea that we had the highest child poverty for the last 5 years - let alone 6.

Big time shame on the goverment. Seriously. I just wish I knew what I could do to stop it besides lobbying the government.

Cheap skating returns!

The Robson Square ice rink downtown is finally opening again next Tuesday! It will be open every day from 12 - 9pm and only costs $3 to rent skates. It’s free if you have your own.

Sounds frickin’ awesome to me. And if you’re hating the Christmas shopping crowds, there’s something sharp handy to cut your way through.
